The Highland Lakes Master Gardeners are presenting free programs for the community especially for new gardeners or those new to the Hill Country as well as anyone that just loves gardening.  This series of classes is designed for basic knowledge of soil preparation, plant selection and care and can be enjoyed by gardeners of all skill levels and interests.  Master Gardeners will give these free classes relating to what should be done in your lawn or garden at that time of year as well as other areas of gardening interest.  Programs are held in Marble Falls, Burnet or Kingsland.  Watch your newspaper for announcement of classes which are held on Wednesdays at the Libraries. The next class is in Burnet.  "Rainwater Harvesting" will be the topic of Master Gardener Paula Montandon's presentation at the Herman Brown Free Library in Burnet on August 20 at 1 PM.  Learn how you can set up a collection system for your own garden.  We have a good time and would love for you to join us.

To get on our email reminder list go to the bottom of the home page and send me an email and we will remind you one week before the events.  See you there.
