The Highland Lakes Master Gardener Association and the Texas AgriLife Extension Service are proud to announce the 13th Annual Hill Country Lawn and Garden Show will be held on March 26, 2011 from 9am to 3pm at the Burnet Community Center, 401 E. Jackson St. in Downtown Burnet or another Hill Country Venue (check back later).
The Highland Lakes Master Gardeners, a volunteer arm of Texas AgriLife Extension Service, are excited to present this free show as a public service to the residents and visitors of the Hill Country. This year’s show featured more than 25 exhibitors of garden related items. The Highland Lakes Master Naturalists will be there with nature books and information on their program and the Native Plant Society will offer an exciting array of native plants. There will be exhibitors from the surrounding Hill Country area offering plants, herbs, trees, veggies, garden equipment as well as other garden related items of interest. A booth especially for children will be included in this year’s show. We will have items like gift cards, trees, wonderful gift items and a beautiful handmade quilt in our raffle. We want to thank our many generous merchants for their generous contributions. Thanks to Wildseed Farms, Pottery Ranch, Backbone Valley Nursery, Ace Hardware Kingsland, Atkins Pharmacy, Natural Gardener-Austin, Crownover Feed, Moody's Kingsland, Hummingbird Hollow, Sam's Dam Ranch, Hoover Building Supply, Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware Marble Falls, Kingsland Florist, Sutherlands, Highland Lakes Master Gardeners and Home Depot.
There will be demonstrations presented throughout the day. In addition to the exhibitors, the show will feature exciting free seminars. Join us on Saturday, March 26, 2011 for a fun and educational day at the 13th Annual Hill Country Lawn & Garden Show.
